Big Beef Warm up for Big Chill at Lexington…

July 29, 2010 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comments Off

THE LEXINGTON - FRIDAY 30TH JULY - 11PM-4AM

Sandwiched like a Lucky Pierre between their ‘In The Woods’ Latitude headline slot - where (if you can overlook an alleged £45,640 disparity in appearance fees) they were sort of supported by Tom Jones - and their Saturday night slot at Big Chill, Beef Warehouse return to The Lexington for a five hour blast of happy happy party nonsense this Friday night (30th July) from 11pm until 4am.

David will be punching his meaty fists in the air at Sonisphere so will be momentarily replaced by Matt from ping pong pioneers, Young Offenders Institute. Although Matt may lack David’s luxuriant locks, he has a beard and a professional camouflage record bag, which suggests he takes things very seriously.

To get in free, use the RSVP function on our Facebook event invite and tell us you are coming, then we’ll put you on a free guest list. Otherwise, it’s a whopping great fiver on the door.

Other Beef stuff that’s coming up…

Next Beef Warehouse night 26th March - The Lexington

March 18, 2010 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comments Off

Remember that bit in ‘The Blues Brothers’ when the band plays the redneck bar and their drinks bill far exceeds their fee? That’s what happened when Beef Warehouse kicked off their regular monthly residency at White Light at The Lexington last month, and that was with only David drinking.

This Friday they return with a hastily renegotiated arrangement (two bottles of Aftershock and a box of After Eights) and two record bags bulging with the best in scuzzy 60s lo-fi, challenging rock n roll, jumpy inappropriate club bangers and a whole lotta of hand-on-heart rock monsters.

£5 on the door, unless you say you’re attending on this event listing and we’ll put you on our free guest list.

BEEF WAREHOUSE presents DAFT DRUNK - Friday 31st July - The Lexington, N1

July 27, 2009 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

Despite provoking a Daily Mail like reaction from a militia of Guardian Guide wielding Latitude Festival goers, Beef Warehouse celebrate the launch of the ‘Beefy Melon’s Vintage Temple of Love & Gratitude’ tent (and its glowing write-up in the Financial Times), as well as the success of their Woods Stage Friday night headline and subsequent stage invasion, with their second monthly ‘Daft Drunk’ night at their new North London abode, The Lexington, this Friday (31st July) from 10.30pm until 4am.

If you like high tempo squidgy electronica, random medleys from stage and screen and Shellac, then come and join our fruity little cult.

Special Guests: Bauer Industries + DJ Stuart Style (tbc)

A belated Happy New Year

beef.jpgBlimey do we have some stories to tell. The Sex Tent delivering on it’s promise, The Gumball Rally party in Barcelona, And a 16 Birthday party that went a little bit out of control.

Let alone the new project coming to a festival near you! Will have a catchup once everything is in place.
Beef Warehouse 2008 was big, 2009: this time… it’s personal.

Memphis Belle at the Music Palace

December 17, 2008 · Filed Under Gigs · Comment

Oh lordy, really let loose at Oh Christmas. Still scared of guitars and booze. Ok time to ramp up the party mode beyond 11 to Country. Saturday 20th we are going to be supporting Memphis Bell and her Bell Ends at the Music Palace in north London’s Crouch End.

So if you want some footstomping tongue firmly in cheek country tunes come on down. It is £12.50 on the door and £10 squid in advance. (Although how to buy them in advance is totally beyond me).
